Sarah Caveney, Studio Owner

I discovered Nia in 2004 and have been experiencing transformations in my body and mind ever since. I came to find Nia
at a time when I had two toddler boys at home and desired a way to discover myself again as a unique individual.
I bring my energy and zest for life to my students encouraging them to find joy
and heath through movement.  The physical and spiritual balance I have now in my life lies within my committment to the practice of Nia with Yoga as a wonderful compliment.  MoveMe is the realization of my dream to bring Nia and Yoga together into the community where I live in a comfortable and pleasant environment.  It is my intention to truly live and work in my community doing what I love...helping people find connections with each other and their body, mind, and spirit.  Come Move with me!

Lori Salomon

I have been teaching yoga in the bay Area since 1999.  My original training was in Ashtanga , but i have since tempered my teaching style with the alignment principles of iyengar and anusara yoga, and I also use some the beautiful sequences from the Vinyasa Krama method.

During the first ten years of  a career in therapeutic bodywork, I was aware that creating  structural balance in my body was imperative to maintaining my own health and happiness.  When I discovered vinyasa  yoga in 1991, I realised that I had found the perfect approach not only for myself but for my clients.

I am grateful for my wonderful yoga teachers: among them Richard freeman,  Leah Nicole,  Tony Briggs, Manusp Manos ! Srivatsan Ramaswami ,Shiva Rae and Zhander Remete.

She inspires her yoga students to bring the aloha into everyday life and transition through yoga therapy, coaching, retreats, and teacher certifications.

After vast amounts of training in a variety of yoga styles, Viniyoga captured her love of detail and intelligent sequencing. “The connection of the breath and asana to bring about a deeper awareness is what inspires me”. She is currently in the Yoga Therapist training with Gary Kraftsow and the American Viniyoga Institute. Her specialty is creating personal practices to directly address individual, therapeutic needs as well as providing a more balanced lifestyle program of health, wellness and a deepening contribution to the world.

Tony Briggs

In the first 30 years of my own practice I was fortunate enough to study with some of the most accomplished yogis in the world— BKS Iyengar, Judith Lasater, Manouso Manos, Kofi Busia, Ramanand Patel, and Zhander Remete. In the last ten years I have also studied Hua Shan Taoist Qi Gong with Larry Johnson. My teaching is the distillation of everything I have learned from these teachers and from over 30 years of my own practice.

My yoga classes are for students of all levels who would like to explore a new way of getting to the depths of their practice where the truth lies. This work will help you to establish structural integrity of the limbs, to tap the body’s deep well-springs of power, and to open its inner stream-ways. Through this practice you will find both an abiding stillness and a spaciousness that will serve you in your daily life in a real way.
